Filipe Prata é mestre em Inteligência Artificial pelo Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. A sua dissertação, desenvolvida em parceria com a Softingal - Software and Consulting, Lda, focou-se na criação de uma aplicação mobile com integração de IA para o setor de mudanças, utilizando técnicas avançadas de aprendizagem profunda e RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) para a classificação e estimativa de volumes de mobiliário a partir de imagens. Atualmente, é Engenheiro de Software na Softingal, onde aplica a sua experiência em desenvolvimento full-stack com diversas tecnologias. É apaixonado por explorar o potencial da Inteligência Artificial na resolução de desafios do mundo real.

Goreti Marreiros is a Coordinator Professor with Aggregation at the Department of Computer Engineering at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP) – Instituto Politécnico do Porto (IPP), Director of GECAD - Research Group on Intelligent Engineering and Computing for Innovation and Development, and President of APPIA (Portuguese Association for Artificial Intelligence). She is the Deputy Director of the Master's in Engineering and Artificial Intelligence (MEIA) and Director of the postgraduate course in BigData & Decision Making at ISEP. Her research focuses on the scientific field of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems, with applications in different areas: Tourism (e.g. projects GIGADESSEA, EKRUCAmI, TheRoute, GROUPLANNER, SmarTravel, ATT); Industry 4.0 (e.g. projects MANTIS, InVALUE, INVALUE_PT, NIS, PIANISM, Cyberfactory, SECOIIA, Ferrovia 4.0, Produtech_R3); Healthcare and well-being (e.g. projects such as EKRUCAmI, PHE, AIRDOC, Inno4health, Secur-e-Health, FoodFriend). She is a co-author of more than 200 scientific articles published in international journals and conferences, and books. She has co-organized more than 20 international conferences, workshops, and seminars in the field of Artificial Intelligence. She has served as an expert for the Foundation for Science and Technology, National Innovation Agency, among other entities.

Dalila Durães is a Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Informatics, the School of Engineering, the University of Minho (Portugal), and a researcher at the ALGORITMI Centre and LASI Intelligent Systems Associate Laboratory. She holds two international PhD: one in Educational Sciences, in Teachers, Curricula and Educational Institutions, from the University of Granada, Spain, completed in 2012, and another in Artificial Intelligence by the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain, completed in 2018. She is vice-chair of the IEEE in Computational Intelligence Society, Portugal Chapter and vice-chair of the Portuguese Association for Artificial Intelligence (APPIA). She began her career in 2002, developing scientific research in nanotechnology until 2004. Subsequently, between 2007 and 2013, scientific research in education. From 2015, she developed research in Computer Engineering, with applications in Human-Computer Interaction, Behavior Analysis, with particular attention to the detection of violence, sentiment analysis, Intelligent Tutoring, Recognition of Human Actions, and LLM. Dalila is the author of more than 80 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, books, and conferences. She is also a member of the editorial board of several international journals. During the past few years, she has served as an expert/reviewer for several conferences and journals. She was also a supervisor of master's and doctoral students and was a member of the jury of several doctoral and master's theses.

Fernando Moreira fundou o Departamento de Ciência e Tecnologia da Universidade Portucalense, criou os primeiros cursos de Engenharia e foi o seu Diretor entre maio de 2018 e fevereiro de 2022. Licenciado em Informática/Matemáticas Aplicadas (1992), Mestre (1997) e Doutorado (2003) em Engenharia Eletrónica e de Computadores pela FEUP, obteve a Agregação em 2018. É Professor Catedrático na Universidade Portucalense. Supervisiona estudantes de mestrado e doutoramento, com mais de 275 publicações indexadas na Scopus. É membro de conselhos editoriais de revistas científicas, organiza edições especiais de revistas JCR e atua regularmente como Chair e orador em conferências internacionais. Foi coordenador do Mestrado em Informática durante uma década e integra a Comissão Diretiva do REMIT. Recebeu o prémio Atlas Elsevier em 2019.

Ana Almeida holds a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering (2003) from University of Minho, a MSc in Electronic and Computer Engineering Specialization in Industrial Informatics (1996) from University of Porto, a BSc in Industrial Informatics (1993) and a BSc in Electronic Engineering (1990) both from Polytechnic Institute of Oporto - Institute of Engineering. She is an Associate Teacher at the Institute of Engineering of Polytechnic of Porto (ISEP/IPP), Sub Director of two post-graduation programmes, in BigData & Decision Making and Industry 4.0. She is also the President of the ISEP Scientific Council since 2018, a council she has been a member of since 2007. Ana Almeida is responsible for the diverse accreditation processes of all ISEP Study Programmes, namely: A3ES (Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education) and EUR-ACE (a framework and accreditation system that provides a set of standards that identifies high-quality engineering degree programmes in Europe and abroad). She is a member of the A3ES board of programme evaluators, and a member of ANI (Nacional Agency for Innovation) board of I&D projects evaluators. In both these positions, she has already evaluated several study programmes and research projects. She is a Senior Researcher of GECAD (Research Group on Intelligent Engineering and Computing for Advanced Innovation and Development, UIDP/00760/2020 and UIDB/00760/2020), a R&D unit ranked as Excellent by the Portuguese Science&Technology Foudation (FCT). She is also member of LASI (Associated Laboratory of Intelligent Systems LA/P/0104/2020), the Portuguese AI Associated Lab recognized by FCT. In the past few years, she has taught and been responsible for several courses on Decision Support Systems, Information Systems and Artificial Intelligence at the graduate and postgraduate levels. Participates and/or participated as Principal investigator (PI) or Co-Principal investigator (Co-PI) in 6 projects and Researcher in more than 20 project(s). She works in the area(s) of ambient Intelligence, decision support systems, and intelligent systems. Her R&D work had applications to different domains, namely Tourism; Industry 4.0; Health Care and Wellbeing. Published several papers in journals, books, and international conferences. Organized several international conferences/workshops. Supervised or co-supervised PhD thesis(es) and MSc dissertation(s). Throughout her career, she has held various positions, including Director of the CICESI research group at the IPP School of Technology and Management (2003-2008), Head of ISEP's Department of Computer Engineering (2007-2014) and President of ISEP's Pedagogical Council (2014-2016).
